nbelaevski May 3, 2010 5:16 PM (in response to derkd)Hi,
This usually happens when RF .jar files are duplicated in EAR file, because there are different class loaders then.

derkd May 4, 2010 3:21 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Hi Nick,
Thanks for your help. Just checked the jars and indeed you are correct. I have in my ear lib 3 RF jars (impl, api and ui) and also in my war I have the impl and ui.
Shall I set them in my war pom.xml as provided?
Regards,
Derk

3. Re: Binding HtmlGmap java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: argument type mismatch
derkd May 4, 2010 4:38 AM (in response to derkd)Hhmm still doesn't work. I get class not found issues because I set the rf UI lib as provided and use this lib for binding in the ejb project.
where should I define the libs or where can I configure the classloading?
I now have set every RF lib in war pom.xml and ejb pom.xml to provided and added the jars to my ear pom.xml
everything compiles but when running I get rich:element not found. That's because I use the richfaces javascript in my page like this:
{code}#{rich:element('map'){code}
I use the jboss tools maven setup but this configuration is still quite buggy I guess...

ilya_shaikovsky May 4, 2010 10:27 AM (in response to derkd)ui and impl libs should be placed in WAR and api should be at EAR.
Anyway having UI components bound to Entity objects properties - seems not good design in general. Controller classes in web application - should be used instead.
