1. Re: After Task Started Event Listener
rebody May 3, 2010 8:29 PM (in response to egycator)Hi Khaled,
There is only START and END event in activity of jBPM4. Could you tell me about what you want to do in AfterStart event? Maybe we could find a way to workaround it.

egycator May 4, 2010 2:27 AM (in response to rebody)Hello HuiSheng,
I'm using the "AfterStart" event listener to insert some records in my database ,with the "TaskId' used in this records .
And when using the "Start" event , the task is not yet created so I cann't get the TaskId.
And this insertion of records must be done before the user views his tasks.
Because this records will control how the task should be viewed for the user.

rebody May 4, 2010 3:16 AM (in response to egycator)Hi Khaled,
If you want to do that, you have to create a custom historySession and set it into historySessionChain. You could follow Developer guide of jBPM 4.

egycator May 4, 2010 4:05 AM (in response to rebody)Hello HuiSheng,
I looked at the HistorySessionChain documentation.
but I couldn't find any getters in theTaskActivityStart event.
And I looked at all the events , there is not getter at all.
How can I get the taskId ?

rebody May 4, 2010 4:29 AM (in response to egycator)Hi Khaled,
I am afraid there were no related getter on TaskActivityStart. We must use reflect to get these information. It must be designer problem.

rebody May 4, 2010 5:30 AM (in response to egycator)Hi Khaled,
I missed the getTask(). You are right. we could get the started task from it. It is unecessary to use reflect. Thanks.
