Problem Accessing Datasource from SAR

I have created an MBean inside a SAR. This SAR depends on a datasource whose definition is defined in the *-ds.xml inside the deploy directory. The problem is that when I try to start the JBOSS with the SAR in the deploy directory the SAR is not able to obtain the jndiName for the datasource. In case the SAR is hot deployed then the datasource is deployed correctly.

Can anyone provide an insight into why it is happening?

you can define a explicit depency on the datasource in the MBean of SAR, thus the SAR will be deployed after the datasource.
