Usage of snapshot version

Hi folks,

what do you think, how save is it to use snapshot version in a productive system? The 3.3.1 snapshot contains some fixes for us we want to use. Is there any final test suite after the snapshot gets released?

Mainly we do major code changes only in different high level branches.. So updates within 3.1.x, 3.2.x and now 3.3.x should be safe for you.. But update to 3.4.x during development could be harmfull(as it was for update to 3.3.0 if you using 3.2.x) because some incompatibilities while adding general features and major upgrades of old ones..

in any way after the community voted for stability and we additionally improved our development process from this point of view - even 3.3.0 update from 3.2.x brahcn was safe for the developers according to feedback there ;)
