raghunath.asha Mar 14, 2009 12:18 AM (in response to raghunath.asha)Thanks Laevsky. Unload option work out pretty much well. The remaining concern is regarding the unused session, in case of browser close operations. I do have a custom object representing a Session, and want to invalidate and remove the object from internal memory if user closes the browser.
Is there a way to know if a session "dead" or "alive" by inspecting any of the RichFace object? Or should I use an idle period logic inside the application logic? -

nbelaevski Mar 15, 2009 12:02 PM (in response to raghunath.asha)No, there is no way to know that. Application server will clear unused sessions internally, so you do not have to do that explicitly.
