Yes, it does. Why is that?
Is there an easy way to get it working like I thought?
Thanks for your reply.
Btw, why is the ajax4jsf source code not included in the RichFaces source code download and where could i get it from? -

6. Re: action of ajax rendered action component does not get ca
jeremygood Mar 29, 2009 7:24 PM (in response to ben_utzer)I also am unable to get my a4j:commandLinks to work. They did work once, but have not for some time. I read this thread, but I'm a a little confused by it. Are the ajax command links NOT SUPPOSED to work in conversations? I DO have a long running conversation going.
When I click on an a4j:commandLink, it simply adds a # to the end of the url. I have verified with debug messages and by debugging, that the specified action does not get invoked. When I replace the a4j:commandLink with an h:commandLink, it works.
I'm wondering if it's actually a more general problem, because I also have not been able to get live valdation to work using a4j:support as described in Seam in Action.
Thanks for any assistance,

ilya_shaikovsky Mar 30, 2009 5:52 AM (in response to ben_utzer)show concrete page code. "the same problem" seems not a good description. because it works for previous man. And the problem was that rendered attribute defined with EL should be pointed to the property with the scope longer than request.
