IE fail with ajax feature for richfaces 3.3.1

I am using richfaces 3.3.1. The a4j:support and rich:ajaxValidator is not working while I am using IE to open the page, but when I try it in Firefox, it working well. My IE version is 7.0.5730, and my firefox version is 3.6.3.

May I know what problem for my IE, and how my IE can support the ajax feature?

The ajax validation is not working no matter how many character I key in into the field.

Anyway, this code work in firefox, but not IE, however, my IE also working well with the livedemo. So I just wondering what problem with my code.

1) problem with validators. if there are any js errors reported in browser?

1.1) also please check a4j:log component output - if there are any errors also.

2) for a4j:support problem try please

        <a4j:support ajaxSingle="true" event="onchange" reRender="output"/>

general.. please if have some time - please try also under 3.3.3.Final to verify that this is not result of older version issus.

But fyi, when I view source from tha page, the page only contains 162 line of source.

About the a4j:support, after I change to the code as you mention, the problem still the same. I would try with latest richfaces version. however, if there any additional efford is needed to upgrade the richfaces lib version, please let me know. Thanks

No. I had tried with richfaces 3.3.3 library. Same problem still happen.

try to clean browser cache and refres hthe page.

please verify that http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/ajaxValidators.jsf works for you. in IE 7 (works for me)

if will found nothing - create simple sa mple war file and attachto thread or upload somewhere.
