1. Re: deploying bundled app with jsf1.2 jars in jboss-6.0.0.M2
ssilvert Feb 26, 2010 12:27 PM (in response to jguglielmin)As per the release notes, WAR_BUNDLES_JSF_IMPL is not supported in M2.
But never fear, with M2 we now have everything in place to allow us to create a JSF Deployer that will allow any WAR or EAR to use any JSF implementation. So you can even mix JSF impls inside the same AS instance.
I'd like to get this implemented by M3, but I've got several other taks to finish first. If it doesn't make it by M3 then I'll definitely get it done by the next release after that.

jguglielmin May 31, 2010 10:58 AM (in response to ssilvert)I tried this once again with M3 (with the above context-param), but still no success. Just checking to see if I am doing something incorrectly, or if it has been implemented in M3 before I spend a lot of time on it.

ssilvert Jun 1, 2010 7:10 AM (in response to jguglielmin)Hi Judy,
If you build JBoss AS from trunk then you will see that this has now been re-implemented along with new features and options for deploying JSF applications. JSF on JBoss AS6
Let me know how it goes. I'd love to get some early feedback on this.
Regards,
Stan

jguglielmin Jun 17, 2010 11:35 AM (in response to ssilvert)That indeed does the trick. Thanks, we'll look forward to the next release of jboss-6. For ICEfaces users, refer to
http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-5402
for use of context-param allowing ICEfaces version 1.8.x deployed to jboss-6. (any time after build#1701 from June 10, 2010)
