Starting/Stopping EJB Jar from the command line

If I go into the JBoss console, I can navigate to Applications -> EJB2 JARs and see the jars I have deployed.  By clicking on one, and selecting the control tab, I have the options to start and stop this EJB.

What I'm trying to find is the command line equivalent.  Is there anyway to start and stop my EJB jars from the command line?  As a side note, I'm also trying to find if there is a way to query the status to know if the EJB jar is currently running or stopped.

      Thanks,
