Some of the Audit tables not having REVTYPE column

Hi Adam,  After generating DDL using 'org.hibernate.tool.ant.EnversHibernateToolTask' I noticed that some of the audit tables not having 'REVTYPE' column. Is it as per the design or may a be kind of bug ? I went through the documentation but could not find anything which explains this.  Kindly clarify.  Regards, Ashish

Adam,  I noticed that this is happening only for those AUD tables which are added as joined sub-class in the hibernate mappings. I guess this is as per design. Can you please provide some information on this if possible.  Regards, Ashish

Anyway   by looking at the generated DDL I can see why it is like this. Actually these tables are not Child tables, but extension of other tables with a cardinality as one to one. So it is fine not to have a revType in extended tables. From extension, I meant where primary Key of one table is foreign key of another.   -Ashish

Yes, exactly, the rev type column is simply not needed there, it would only duplicate information.

And posting in one place is enough, no need to send PMs with notices .
