there is usage of ajaxKeys within the iteration components to partial updates in concrete cells. Analogous code should be used for the table. -

thanks for your reply,
for ajaxkeys works, i need to know the id of component to reRender. but in rich:columns, this id is created dynamically, how can i pass this id to context menu?
For second question, Could you tell me how can i find the ids used to rerender after ajax request by firebug or a4j:log?

4. Re: How to rerender a column with rich:contextmenu?
ilya_shaikovsky Mar 24, 2009 10:04 AM (in response to liuliu)1) you could define id dynamically in columns like id="colId#{index}"
2) look for <meta name='Ajax-Update-Ids' in the log. -
5. Re: How to rerender a column with rich:contextmenu?
liuliu Mar 24, 2009 11:15 AM (in response to liuliu)1)the problem is how can i pass this id created dynamically to contextmenu, tell it to rerender this id after menu clicked.
in my first poste, the a4j:outputpanel has a id "cell#{cellDay}", i passed it to contextmenu by f:param named column, but rerender does not work.
2)thanks
