Is there any way to have STS create a x509 Token?

I am currently making a 2.0 but just found out our customer is using 1.1 and only accepts 1.1. Is it possible to create a 1.1 using the STS?

We dont support SAML 1.1

You should be able to write a SAML11TokenProvider for the STS. You can use the opensaml1.1 library (it contains one or two jars) to build the saml 1.1 token.

Well will it make the x509 token? They can accept those. And is it the same as in the WSTrucstClientTest where I set it to use SAMLUtil.SAML2_SENDER_VOUCHES_URI?

Can I change it in the picketlink-sts.xml and the WSTrucstClientTest just like I did for the Sender Vouches?
