wolfgangknauf Jul 13, 2010 6:28 AM (in response to norten)1 of 1 people found this helpfulNormally, JBoss does not require a restart on redeploy (at least for JavaEE deployments of EAR, WAR, Ejb jar). But if your app uses some external framework, there might occur strange problems on redeploy - this is actually a bug in the component or the way JBoss handles it, not the "by design" behaviour ;-).
Changes to the server config (e.g. logging, login-config.xml) require server restarts.
I am not sure about services, but I think they are hot-deployable.
