1. Re: Jboss CR2 - ServiceBindingManager Exception
jaikiran Sep 22, 2008 9:13 AM (in response to arulasha)In JBoss-5 CR2 there has been a major change in the ServiceBindingManager configurations. This has been moved out from the jboss-service.xml to a bindings.xml file under %JBOSS_HOME%\server\< serverName>\conf folder. You don't have to change the jboss-service.xml file any more. Instead you have to work on the bindings.xml file. I think, these changes are related to JBAS-5192 as mentioned in the release notes http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=142572

I have created the new binding.xml for my requirements based on file that is attached in the wiki article (http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/_Files/AS5ServiceBindingManager/bindings.xml).
Got below exception . I could not find the jar file inside jboss as 5. Please help me to find the file .Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: bindingservice-plugin.jar doesn't exist. (rootURI: file:/D:/Projects/JBoss5/SVN/jboss/server/lms1/lib//bindingservice-plugin.jar, file: D:\Projects\JBoss5\SVN\jboss\server\lms1\lib\bindingservice-plugin.jar at org.jboss.virtual.plugins.context.file.FileSystemContext.<init>(FileSystemContext.java:198) at org.jboss.virtual.plugins.context.file.FileSystemContext.<init>(FileSystemContext.java:170) at org.jboss.virtual.plugins.context.file.FileSystemContextFactory.getVFS(FileSystemContextFactory.java:65) at org.jboss.virtual.VFS.getVFS(VFS.java:89) at org.jboss.virtual.VFS.getRoot(VFS.java:103) at org.jboss.classloading.spi.vfs.dependency.VFSClassLoaderPolicyModule.determineVFSRoots(VFSClassLoaderPolicyModule.java:170) ... 41 more

That file looks outdated. The current one shipped in JBoss-5 CR2 refers to a different jar file:<classloader name="bindings-classloader" xmlns="urn:jboss:classloader:1.0" export-all="NON_EMPTY" import-all="true"> <root>${jboss.server.lib.url}/jboss-bindingservice.jar</root> </classloader>
Why don't you try what Peter suggested:"PeterJ" wrote:
