a4j:commandButton and CSS

Hi,

I'm trying to change the background color and textcolor of a a4j:commandButton.
I've tried everything I can think of, but without success.

The closest I got was using the style attribute and setting the background using background-color and color.

This gave me an ugly gradient from blue to my new color (orange).

It's overkill to create a complete skin.

Everything else in my UI worked fine by using .rich-table.headercell and the alike in my css file. Just running into trouble with the commandButton.

Can somebody help me?

you should not forget to define bg image as none in your classes where you defining bg color. in other case bg color will not affect the element with bg image.
