GateIn portal and ajaxRequest

Hello @,

  is it possible to configure GateIn the way that every request (even portal page switch) will be ajax request? I see there is ajaxRequest param which enables it in case when portlet is refreshed from portlet menu...

No, there is no way to configure such thing.

Yes, the ajaxRequest param is key point to tell GateIn that it would be an ajax request.

FYI, you can configure the NavigationPortlet portlet to navigate pages in ajax by its useAJAX portlet preference.

  thanks for your reply. I tried the useAjax but it does not work (I deleted all tmp dirs for sure, I checked with Firebug, ajaxRequest param was added into url, html returned but not refreshed on the page, no javascript error - seems like bug in js). I tested on 3.1.0GA bundled version.

You are right, it does not work anymore . and I created a JIRA issue https://jira.jboss.org/browse/GTNPORTAL-1381 for it
