Upgrade xslt 1.0 to xslt 2.0

hi guys,

           I am planning to upgrade my Jboss AS 4.2 to Jboss 5.1 along with JbossESB 4.4 to JbossESB 4.8. Now what i also want to upgrade is the XSLT 1.0 to XSLT 2.0 and for that i need soem suggestion.

I recon xslt 1.0 uses xalan processor and xslt 2.0 (saxon?). So my question is what are the necessary steps require to perform this upgrade (xslt 1.0 - xslt 2.0). what are configuration changes require in jboss AS 5.1 and/or jbossESB 4.8?

based upon my research, apache xalan only supports xslt 1.0, is it right ? or is there any latest or bridged solution of xalan that covers xslt 2.0 specs?

On the other hand, saxon is the only processor which i found covering xslt 2.0 specs?
