Setting a global z-index for modal panels

Hi,

I am running into a problem setting one z-index so that it can be applied to all modal panels automatically. This is so I can avoid having to go to each modal panel and hard-coding a modal panel zindex attribute. I have tried setting the .rich-modalpanel class in a global stylesheet with a high z-index value, but unfortunately it is simply shadowing the default z-index="100" that RichFaces seems to be adding automatically when a zindex attribute is not provided.

Has anyone run into this problem and had any luck finding a global CSS workaround?

It added to style so in order to redefine from class you should add

.rich-modalpanel{

z-index:1000 !important;

}

Or more common solution(as the same could be achieved through attribute). If you will need some component to have similar attributes definitions (some default) for all the occurences - just create custom facelet where the component and those atteributes  defined as need and use accross the application instead of just the component itself.
