a4j:commandLink href set value

I am using a4j:commandLink and would like to have internal links (e.g. href=#InternalLink)

I see that a4j:commandLink is converted to <a href='#'> tag.

Is it possible to set the value of the generated href?

use h:outputLink.

Thanks for replying. I can't use <h:outputLink> because i rely on reRender and oncomplete functions.

I found a workaround, i simply add

onclick="windows.location.hash='#' + '#item.internalLink'; " 

(I will later move it to an external js and add some checks and actions)

No other way except you mentioned for the a4j:commandlink. And I believe that it works fully the same as h:commandLink does.
