gwzoller Aug 5, 2010 11:51 AMHello,
I have a simpe "hello world" ejb ear the deployed just fine under M3 but goes boom under M4. Here is the last chunk of the exception:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Null type

My annotation on the ejb stateless bean (only ejb in the package) is simply @Stateless.
My application.xml is this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<application xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application_5.xsd"
version="5">
<description>Render screen frames for web pages</description>
<display-name>FrameMaker</display-name>
<module>
<java>FrameMakerClient.jar</java>
</module>
<module>
<ejb>FrameMakerEjb.jar</ejb>
</module>
<module>
<web>
<web-uri>FrameMaker.war</web-uri>
<context-root>/FrameMaker</context-root>
</web>
</module>
</application>
I know this is hard to debug without all the code but I'm seeking any guesses what might cause this problem--especially stuff that's changed since M3.
Thanks,
Greg
