I am seeing an issue where something happens on a particular app server in which CPU mem ‘peaks’ at about 25% utilization on a quad core box. They are using Jboss 4.0.5/jdk 1.6. During this time, no one can log into the application and if you are already in the application, nothing ‘happens’.
We typically restart Jboss and it works fine....if we dont restart, eventually everything returns to normal. CPU drops and you can use the system fine. The length of time though can vary from 15 mins to 25 ish
