jaikiran Aug 20, 2010 11:12 AM (in response to rodrigo.uchoa)Which OS is this? I remember there was a VFS bug which was fixed, but I don't know if this is related.

If you can get the thread dumps http://community.jboss.org/wiki/ThreadDump when the server "hangs", that might help in figuring out what's going on.

3. Re: Identifying delay in JBoss 5.1 startup time
rodrigo.uchoa Aug 20, 2010 11:57 AM (in response to jaikiran)I'm on Mac OS Snow Leopard (10.6.4). Running jboss in JDK 5.
What is most strange to me is the fact that the server doesn't hang when I'm at home. Only at work. As if there is something to do with the network I'm currently on. Do you think these two bugs make sense in this case?
I'm gonna look into the thread dump thing.

Having a similar thread I guess those bugs might be related. But can't say for sure.

Indeed. This thread you mentioned seem to be same issue. I'm gonna try to apply the patch to see if it works.
Thank you.
