I hope, using collections (set instead of list) does not have any impact to performance in jsf 2.2.
Or does jsf 2.2 wraps the returned set internally to a list such as I did above?
However, I am glad to hear that it will be supported in future.

JSF 2.2 does not exist yet; that's a future version only. Currently 2.0.x & 2.1.x are available.
