Anyone have a suggestion for do this?

I'm trying to do this: I have a lot of h:inputtext (attributes) inside a rich:datatable, i would like when a user modify one or some attributes (when finishing modify) the new values are updated in the database. Can i do this?

I saw this example http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/repeat.jsf?c=repeat&tab=usage but my attributes are generated dinamically and should have a a4j:support per h:inputtext, i would like (if its possible) have a a4j:support per rich:datatable row.

Any suggestion is welcome.

dataTAble row - not responsible for any content in child columns. so supports should be at components which changes should cause the requests as shown at sample.

Thanks i understand, but how can do this? Maybe i can add an extra rich:colum with a button to save changes?

another alternative is: use onrowclick and pass the value into a modalpanel, in this modalpanel you can do a update of the selected value.

Or you can do update via a4j:support of a inputText when "onchange" is occured.

you still able to

• add support's to inputs which should be stored on some event (it seems what you need)
• add add/edit buttons which will save the whole row
