aguizar Sep 10, 2010 6:54 PM (in response to shannonsumner)The patch contibuted by Per Christian Henden in JBPM-2813 addresses the past due date problem, returning the current date instead. This update will be delivered with jBPM 4.5. We have not settled on a release date yet, but you can download a stable snapshot from the Maven repository.

These variables contain hashmaps where I can add all sorts of variables. I then created a class which extends HistorySession to set the due date of the task to the duedate value stored in the corresponding process variable. This works and gives me what I need - I want a task to be two weeks late if a process was not initiated on time. Now I have to figure out a better way to assign variables to tasks within the process definition ...
