1. Re: stomp-websocket: DISCONNECT on shutdown?
krukow Sep 21, 2010 7:50 AM (in response to krukow)Just realized that this isn't a legal SERVER message in STOMP. So no graceful disconnect?

2. Re: stomp-websocket: DISCONNECT on shutdown?
jmesnil Sep 21, 2010 8:11 AM (in response to krukow)yes, no graceful disconnect initiated from the server.
on the client side though, you can register a callback to be notified when the web socket is closed and clean up your resources eventually.

3. Re: stomp-websocket: DISCONNECT on shutdown?
krukow Sep 21, 2010 9:16 AM (in response to jmesnil)Hi Jeff, enjoying your work on connecting stomp and JMS
Yes, callback on close is good enough - thanks!
Noticed your chat example uses ws over port 61614 - do you know if it is possible to run the same example over port 80 or 8080 having tomcat/webserver handle ordinary http and HornetQ handle STOMP over websocket messages?
(my sysadm won't open 61614)
Thanks.
