Sort indicator in scrollableDataTable

How can I enable the sort indicator (up/down arrows) in scrollableDataTable, just as it works in dataTable and extendedDataTable?
The out of the box behavior of allowing columns to sort but not showing any indication of that capability to the user is confusing.
