JBoss + Apache (mod_jk) serving static + WAR file

Hi

I actually have various JBoss instances running an application in a war file. I use Apache 2 mod_jk to balance the traffic to my JBoss's.

I would like to know how to config my machines to serve static content through Apache. Also i would line to use compression (mod_deflate) and cache (mod_expires)

I still haven't fidn a clear tutorial about this.

Does someone how to do it or where to find it?

Hello,

time ago I've added a tutorial about clustering web applications

Basically you choose to dispatch  some web contexts to mod_jk like for example:

JkMount /HelloWorld/* loadbalancer.

All other Web context will be searched in Apache's public html directory.

The information about mod_deflate and mod_expires can be found on Apache documentation
