Wondering if there's a way to trigger an a4j:status item just on dataTable sort. I don't want the status to show for the other operations on my dataTable (links, etc). I've tried adding a region around the dataTable, but that triggers for everything that gets done in the dataTable.
I've also tried adding a region in the header facet to see if that would work, but that doesn't get triggered. This seems similar to an older post (http://community.jboss.org/message/45932) and jira issue (https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-4699), but those are mostly related to triggering an action rather than just a status.
Any advice appreciated.
