JSR 286 - processEvent is not called

For the portlet to portlet communication -

I deployed the example in JBoss Portal 2.7.2 from:

Portlets are displayed, but communication is not happening because processEvent is not being called.

Any suggestions are helpful.

Tried the similar from this URL

It's to do with Setting the parameter as Serializable for event handling.

Got it worked.
