1. Re: RecursiveTreeNodesAdapter + Turning off default drop handling at node.
harpritt Nov 2, 2010 6:07 PM (in response to harpritt)Hi
Heres what i have so far.
<rich:tree style="width:100%" ajaxKeys="#{null}" ajaxSubmitSelection=
"true" switchType="client" id="checklistTree">
<rich:recursiveTreeNodesAdaptor roots=
"#{myBean.tree.rootElement}" var="ele" nodes=
"#{ele.childElements}" id="tree">
<rich:treeNode>
<a4j:outputPanel id="upperPanel" layout="block">
<h:outputText value="uppper" />
<rich:dropSupport dropListener="#{myBean.dropListener}" acceptedTypes=
"all" />
</a4j:outputPanel
<a4j:outputPanel id="contentPanel" layout="block">
<rich:dragSupport dragType="all" dragIndicator="indicator2" />
<h:outputText value="folder #{ele.id}" />
</a4j:outputPanel>
</rich:treeNode>
</rich:recursiveTreeNodesAdaptor>
</rich:tree>
Drag works fine.... but the drop doesnt.... the drop zone just wont accept the dragged element... driving me nuts..
cheers in advance

2. Re: RecursiveTreeNodesAdapter + Turning off default drop handling at node.
harpritt Nov 2, 2010 7:22 PM (in response to harpritt)No idea why this isnt working.... driving me potty.
I guess one alternative is to create an intermediate tree that has "inbetween nodes" that is then used in the recursiveadapter....
darn it... this would have been ideal.
