The example that comes with distro for clustered grouping as such worked for me. Then I modified the example code that comes with hornetq distro to suit my requirements such a way that
1. Instead of 3 producers I created only 1 prodcuer that is connected to server0
2. Send 30 messages all to same node server0 but in 3 batches (of 10 each with group id set for messages 0-9 as Group-0, 10-19 as Group-1 and 20-29 as Group-2)
Here my assumption is that Hornetq would distribute messages 0-9 to server0, 10-19 to server1 and 20-29 to server2 and hence I
3. Created 3 consumers to consume messages from server0, server1 and server2 but I could see only 20 messages getting consumed (0-9 by) server0 and (20-29 by) server1. Bot sure what happened to messages 10-19 as they were not consumed by any of the servers.
