transaction propagation from session bean to java bean

What are the tx propagation semantics when a SLSB starts a tx and then invokes a public method on a POJO (JavaBean)?  Is the tx propagated or not?  I know it may be propagated to another EJB.  I could not find anything in JSR220 on this.  thx.

assume the app is running in JBoss 4.2.x or 5.x (i.e. no Spring AOP for tx's).  thx.

The tx is not 'propagated' to the POJO per se, however, the tx is still currently active while the POJO method is being invoked. Once your SLSB's method completes the tx is either committed or rolled back as per the specification.
