    hotrod security

I talked to Galdor about this before, in that the clients dont have any security implementation, not even ssl for the tcp/ip transport - although I guess you could configure a tunnel to encrypt at the transport level.

So this is just a discussion thread to see what plans there are for ssl and maybe SASL?

in the remote transports - including memcached?

There is a catch-all JIRA to address security around several areas of Infinispan.  We haven't addressed this as yet, but this is definitely something that folks have asked for.

          https://jira.jboss.org/browse/ISPN-143

If you're willing to help with this, if you need it sooner than we can get to it ourselves, that would be much appreciated.  :-)
