Siteminder blocking mod_cluster traffic from jboss to apache

I am trying to get siteminder 6.x to work with mod_cluster and jboss 5.1.

Siteminder is running on the apache web server but it is blocking all traffic from JBoss on port 8000.

Port 8000 is the port JBoss mod_cluster is using to talk to the apache mod_cluster.

I appears that siteminder is thinking traffic on port 8000 is an invalid url.

If there is a way to have siteminder ignore the traffic on port 8000 or make the traffic on 8000 look like a web request my problem would be solved.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this wooking.

Did you get any answers to your question, I am having a similiar problem with Apache --> Tomcat.

I think that the problem is that siteminder 6.x needs to support HTTP/1.0 which mod_cluster uses for the MCM.

mod_cluster 1.1.2 should support it try with it.
