Get the filter of extendedDataTable to search not only the b

Hi!

I am using the extendedDataTable to display some articles of a web shop. The users will use the built-in filter functionality to search for articles.

Currently only the beginning of the names is search. So when I want to find the word 'test' if can search for 'te' but not for 'est'.

Is there a way to change the filter settings so they search the entire values?

yes. but only by using external filtering. with filtermethod or filter expression and with your own input.
