Changing html back to jsf/richfaces component?

We all know that .xhtml written using jsf/richfaces components when rendered in browser, the JSF servlet changes it into pure html.

Is it possible to reverse, I mean change the pure html back into .xhtml which shows jsf/richfaces componets used?. So far I think it is not possible and it is tough to write API's to do this reverse conversion.

Anyway, just of curiosity want to know community members thoughts?

This conversion is not reversible. Too much data is lost. Additionaly you also can write some html on xhtml page which will be rendered as it is.

If I could write pure html or xhtml, then I won't be on this richfaces forum .
