RichFaces 4 - pickList

Hello everybody,

Is there are migration plan foreseen for the rich:pickList that was available in RichFaces 3?

If not, what can I use instead (considering I want a way to provide the user with a multi-selection mechanism)?

Hi Jerome,

Unfortunately no, picklist did not make the schedule for the 4.0 file :-(  We do plan on migrating the component, but it will be after 4.0 Final release.

I will be posting a blog shortly about the final component list that 4.0, and discuss the plans for post 4.0 component development.  Hopefully this will answer any more of your questions.

I guess you can try to write your own solution based on h:selectManyListbox until this component is not ported to RF 4.x
