jnp and remoting host

We are having issues using host a host name to for remote connections to a hornetq server. All seems to work using IP number, but when switching to a host name we receive a connection refused exception.

Is there something different that needs to be configured to use a host name instead of an IP number?

Not really

Look at the configs. The Port for the Naming is configured at the beans file on the standalone. (I'm assuming you are using the standalone)
