2. ear service dependency declaration for ejb2 in jboss 5.1.0
rakeshjain Jan 20, 2011 9:48 AM (in response to jaikiran)Thanks for the quick reply.
I am trying to depend on the ear. in my case it is appmanger.ear. the syntax which i have given in above mail for depends is working fine in 4.2.3.
I guess i need to change the value of that. but not sure about the change.
Actually in Jboss 4.2.3 there is ejb-deployer.xml under default\deploy folder. In jboss 5.1.0 we dont have that file under deploy.i found 2 xmls under deployers which i think are equalent to ejb-deployer.xml in 4.2.3(Please correct me if i am wrong). ear-deployer-jboss-beans.xml and ejb-deployer-jboss-beans. Do i need to take searvice name from these files? if so, where can i find the service name in these files?

3. ear service dependency declaration for ejb2 in jboss 5.1.0
wdfink Jan 20, 2011 10:59 AM (in response to rakeshjain)We've had a similar problem,
one reason is that since JBoss5 the url of a deployment is changed with a generated (pre or suffix ??) to avoid conflicts.
see https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBPAPP-2419
And dependencies to other EAR was not successful for us.
I move the second EAR to deploy/deploy-last ant it will be deployed after each other, this is good enough for us.
