ilya_shaikovsky Jan 24, 2011 4:45 AM (in response to lfryc)My thoughts...
- 1) and 2) need to add all the ajax attributes including event handlers in order to configure ajax mode.
- b.t.w. thinking about defaults. bypassUpdates=true, execute="@this", render="@this". comment that in issue and we will discuss prior to impl.
- 3) yup.. facet not implemented. But it's base functionality. So please rise an issue. And b.t.w. if not defined - it should not be encoded at all.
- 4) rise RFC on removal. we will review more carefully - can't say for sure right now. Possible reason for inclusion - ability to switch that on the client.
- 5) yup.. seems immediate should be there. but I believe not so critical as all the other issues.

nbelaevski Jan 24, 2011 5:01 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Hello all,
In addition to what Ilya just said, IMHO tooltip should not execute full lifecycle, but only 1, 2 & 6 phases. So immediate/bypassUpdates won't make sense then.

lfryc Jan 24, 2011 9:05 AM (in response to jbalunas)- RF-10282 - rich:tooltip - implement limited lifecycle, remove @bypassUpdates and @immediate
- RF-10283 - rich:tooltip - add request client-side event handlers - @onbegin, @oncomplete, @onbeforedomupdate
- RF-10284 - rich:tooltip - add loading facet
- RF-10285 - rich:tooltip - remove @disabled (@rendered should do its job)
