Embedded database as Infinispan cacheStore?

Hi,

I was just wondering, if there is a e.g. berkeley cache store for infinispan... Or maybe something quicker (as I don't like the fileCacheStore creating file for every cache entry...). Or is the fileCacheStore the quickest and best possible solution for nonDistributed local cache store?

Take a look at BDBJE cache store.

Alternatively jdbc cache store can be configured with an in-memory database.

Also, the file cache store does not create a file for every entry.  It uses a bucket-based approach so entries will start to share file buckets.
