Huge memory problems with JBossAS6

Hi,

we're using JBossAS6 and especially in development environments with a huge deployment frequency we noticed that the deployment needs more and more time until we end up in an exception "(HDScanner) Exception sending context destroyed event to listener instance of class com.sun.faces.config.ConfigureListener: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space" while deploying the application. Only a complete server restart can solve the problem. Unformtunalely this exception occurs already after 15-20 re-deployments. We already adjusted the parameter MaxPermSize to "-XX:MaxPermSize=256m". The environment is JBossAS6-Final on 64Bit CentOS Linux. Are there any known issus or suggestions to fix it? Thank in advance.

Looks like you may be encountering the issue as described in JBAS-8443

The root cause of the issue is a bug in Mojarra 2.0.3 as noted in the JIRA.  This is resolved in Mojarra 2.1.0 which hasn't been released. Nor did I see this issue listed as resolved when looking at the in Mojarra 2.0.4 release notes.     Or refer to the JBoss AS 6.0 JSF Guide on how to Change the JSF Configuration
