Changing the sort algorithm in dataTable

Hi everyone,

By default sortBy does lexicographic sorting. Is there a way to specify a different sorting algorithm?

I want to do numeric sorting.

Am I required to implement a DataModel for that?

No, define sortBy="#{expr}" where "expr" is a number (and not string) typed expression.
