WSRP Producer URL Rewriting

Hello,

Does Jboss Portal support WSRP producer URL writing, based on URL templates received from the consumer.

I've gone through the documentation and I can't find anything specific around this or if it has been implemented.

No, JBoss Portal's WSRP producer doesn't support URL rewriting. The WSRP consumer does work which such producers though.

Note also that JBoss Portal is not developped anymore as we now focus on our new Portal initiative called GateIn. Is there a particular reason why you're still using JBoss Portal as opposed to GateIn?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the confirmation. We're using Jboss Portal mainly because of the time invested...dev, testing, etc.

I've heard some good things about GateIn, so certainly in the future I'm sure it will be considered!

No, it's not currently supported either since we haven't had any request for it until now and it's an optional part of the spec. Feel free to open a feature request on the GateIn WSRP JIRA: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/GTNWSRP
