Solaris skinning issues?

Hello there,

i'm experiencing some problems with my webapp on solaris.

here's a screenshort showing the differences of the webapp running on a winxp or a solaris machine:

on the one side:
win xp sp2/3
tomcat 5.5
java 1.5

on the other side:
solaris 10
tomcat 5.5
java 1.5

these appearances can be seen both in internet explorer 7 and firefox 3.
i'm using jsf 1.2 (mojarra) and rf 3.3.0ga
it seems that all kinds of richfaces effects or graphics are unavailable or something like that

any hints/solutions will be appreciated.

Hi Tim,

Try running Tomcat JVM in headless mode:

java -Djava.awt.headless=true

unfortunately there are no changes...

any other ideas how to solve this issue?

well, it works fine now.
variable has been accidentally overwritten.
