2. Acessing explicit Method through Unified EL.
nickarls Feb 16, 2011 2:57 PM (in response to spinner)because it's a value expression and it's looking for a getTestString();
the method expression #{testBean.testString} could be called in a commandButton

3. Acessing explicit Method through Unified EL.
spinner Feb 16, 2011 3:20 PM (in response to nickarls)Nicklas, is there an EL workaround if I want to access the return of this method in a value?
In my specific case I need to use the return of the method and use a converter in it.
<h:outputText value="#{dateTime.toDate}" >
<f:convertDateTime pattern="HH:mm MM/dd/YYYY"/>
</h:outputText>
