Omitting ajax request for some control?

Hi,

I'm new to Richfaces, so I have a basic question.

I have a rich:dataTable centered in a page and two rich:togglePanel on the left side. When I'm using some togglePanel, the bean that populates the dataTable is ejecuted on every ajax request. The table display weigth images so I want to omitt the table ajax requests when I'm using others controls?

I try to use ajaxSingle ang regions without success.

Is necessary to have 3.3.1 version to use limitToList=true?

In rich:togglePanel where have to specify limitToList=true to avoid ajax request for others controls?

To use the behavior described in RF-3341 - yes, it's necessary to have 3.3.1

Ok that's in case that I have a a4j:commandButton for example.

In my case I'm usuing a rich:togglePanel with switchType="ajax", so when click for open the control o click on some link on the navigation panel also is performed ajax request ( switchType="ajax"), in this case have to specify limitToList=true for:

<rich:toggleControl value="x Close" ajaxSingle="true" switchToState="closed" />

?
