rich:calendar doesn't work in rich:popupPanel

I want to migrate my Richfaces3.3/JSF1.2-project to Richfaces4M4/JSF2.0.

The rich:calendar-tag worked fine in the rich:modalPanel, but it doesn't work in rich:popupPanel.

Here is my code:

    <rich:popupPanel id="chooseTimesPanel">

        <h:form id="reportParamForm">

                 <h:outputText value="#{msg.lblBeginnDatum}"/>

                 <rich:calendar id="reportStartDate">

                </rich:calendar>

         </h:form>

     </rich:popupPanel>

When I put the rich:calendar-tag on my main page, it works fine aswell. Only in the popupPanel I can see the calendar-icon and click on it, but no event is fired(no reaction in firebug).

Can you please help me?

Please try latest snapshot or at least M5 version. We had some positioning issues with popup and calendar but in general it worked fine during our tests.

I put my code in the popup-panel-sourcecode of your latest RichFaces Demo(with M5) and the rich:calendar doesn't work either.

It's the same reaction(no event fired) as in my own project.

My application server is a Oracle Weblogic 10.3.3. and not JBoss. Could this be a problem?

sorry, but unfortunatelly after one more check on latest snapshot still can't confirm.

And about your last question - just check if there are some exceptions in server log. And check please resources loading statuses (E.g. using FireBug NET tab)

I have just found the exact same problem: the rich:calendar component doesn't work when it's part of a rich:popupPanel.

Has anybody identified this as a problem and is there a work around for this issue?

I have found the solution: declare the popupPanel as follows:

<rich:popupPanel modal="true" id="popup" domElementAttachment="form" autosized="true">

This worked for me
