1. Two row table header (or more then two)
ilya_shaikovsky Feb 21, 2011 5:10 AM (in response to samkwitty)check richfaces-demo(if need 3.3.x) or richfaces-showcase(if use rf-4).
You should use rich:columnGroup component for header facet. and breakBefore, rowSpan, colSpan attributes for the column.

2. Two row table header (or more then two)
samkwitty Feb 21, 2011 4:29 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Thanks for the reply...
However, I don't think that works (or maybe I don't understand how to make that work). The functionality you are pointing to will allow me to have a "master" header above grouped columns and/or a row in the data part which spans multiple columns. What I am trying to do is have the header of each column consists of two header rows.

3. Two row table header (or more then two)
ilya_shaikovsky Feb 22, 2011 5:04 AM (in response to samkwitty)but visually with master header you could achieve the double-line header above the columns like there http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/dataTable.jsf Or I'm still missing something. Actually the column facet header is getting encoded intop the same thead but allows to output only single th.. So in your case you have to deal with master table header and construct it as you need on your own.

4. Two row table header (or more then two)
samkwitty Feb 24, 2011 12:27 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Right except that I want double header rows per column. Using the online example the master header would need to have 3 colums in it. Hope that makes sense.
